MS Word 2002 and FileMaker Pro 7

I'm trying to do a simple mail merge in Word 2002 (Win) by accessing data in a Filemaker database. I installed the ODBC driver but Word's Mail Merge wizard doesn't offer FileMaker as a data source!

I have a Mac at home and Word 2004 connects so easily to my Filemaker 6 database with a Word wizard called "Data Merge Manager" but this is not in Word 2002 Windows. Is Word 2002(Win) even compatible with FileMaker 7?

Any help is appreciated!

I couldn't get it to work either.

You could export the data from FileMaker to a TXT file and use that - I did see that as a data souce option.

Another thought: why not recreate your Word letter in FileMaker and print from there using <<merge fields>>?
