I need advice on the best implementation on this scenario:

I have a table of teachers, a table of classes, and a table of credentials. The class and credential tables do not contain the teacher name as I do not want it tied to the name making related records. What I want to be able to do is assign classes and credentials in a portal in the teacher info without creating records in the other tables. Basically a value list to choose the credential name and the information from the credential list gets imported, same with classes.

Does this make sense? Thank you, it has been sometime since in FMP and any help is appreciated.
