change colours in layout based on radio btn

Can I have my layout be pink for girls and blue for boys?

It'd be a nice feature, but I have no idea how to do it aside from creating two layouts. Would I need to create a layout and have it pull up the correct layout based on the value of the gender field, or is there an easier way?
