On some of our web sites it prompts us to log into the database (which is normal) for the first link that hits the database. later in the site, seems to happen after a search which returns a container and some data, the prompt will appear again.

Any thoughts on why this is happening?

More details? Are you opening the files with the same user and password? Are you opening the files with a script?

We are working out of one database. We have an initial log in page. When the user clicks "Log In!" they are prompted for the username and password. The username and password they enter is checked against the Filemaker Database username and passwords. We are not using external authentication. The next page they do a search for some items. The results page will then ask again for the username and password. This only happens on pages that contain a container field.
