Newbies bennygsr Posted May 6, 2005 Newbies Posted May 6, 2005 I have FM 7 and am attempting to make a patient record database for my podiatry clinic. Does anyone know of any articles / books / training more specific to practice management software ? Also, as a relative beginner to the software, is it worth me investing in say a FM 7 Bible. I have read varying reviews on it. Any help appreciated.

Zero Tolerence Posted May 6, 2005 Posted May 6, 2005 I'd get the book "Using Filemaker 7" You won't be dissapointed.
stanley Posted May 6, 2005 Posted May 6, 2005 Benny: The FileMaker Bible can be a bit of a tough nut - it is somewhere between beginner and advanced, and it seems like it's never the right fit for anyone, because it tries to cater to everyone. I'd say your best bet is to go to a big bookstore and browse through your options to see what book makes sense to you. Having said that though, I agree that "Using FileMaker 7" is an excellent book. -Stanley
