Is it possible to give a user a "Change Password Only" Privilege without giving them "full access"? We have a Help Desk group that a User calls when they forget their password and the Help Desk resets their passwords for all of our other types of software and accounts. Also, can a script be written when the Help Desk changes the password for it to change the password in all the related files. Due to lack of time, we are not converting all of our 7.0 to only one file with tables. We will still have files that have 7 or more related files.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Only Full Access accounts have access to the Accounts and Privileges pane, where you can change passwords for other accounts. But you might design your security scheme so that accounts can be managed with the new account management script steps. You can then use a script to change a password, add an account, delete an account, or enable or disable an account.
