Simple, probably stupid question-

I need to match text from previous records in certain fields. I'd like to start typing the text and have Filemaker match and fill in the rest of the text like Excel does.

example - Vendor names.

I'd like to type 'To' and have filemaker fill 'Tornado Films Inc' into the field.

How is this done?

Unfortunately the answer is equally simple. FM does not have any way to implement a satisfactory type ahead feature. The best you can do is use some sort of drop down menu option.
