Is there a way to script FileMaker so that if a user closes the active window, it can remain open. I only want users to close the FileMaker files by using the proper methods I have programmed in. I have tried using the document preferences / close script to run a script trying to halt that action, but no luck. Any ideas would be most welcome. Thanks in advance.

This is what I am looking for, but I am not sure how to implement. It seems as if you are beginning to run a script, which locks the window, but how do you keep things in that state?

Sorry! I did not mark that you can not see file options.

Press Esc then Click at Close button and you will see how it did.

Sorry million!
