Pull data for PDF file name

I want to creat a script that will process, and print to a PDF file. BUT I want it to copy one of the fields out of the database and use that for the filename in the creation of the PDF.

Don't know if it can be done or not, any ideas? (I am using FMV6, but have V7 Both on PC and OS X)

Thanks

On Windows you need to use one of the PDF printing utilities. Win2PDF will do what you want. You will need some VBscript to do it (it requires writing the target file name to the registry).

On Mac I believe it can be done entirely with Applescript judging from othe rposts on the subject.

Bottom line: it can be done and has been done before.
