I have a main table that holds all he fields my database requires. I have several other tables in seperate files that hold the same data just in different chunks. I.E. client info, billing history, products. I would like the database to create the appropriate record in the related tables when i type the information into the main table fields. If you could just point me in the right direction I'd appreciate it, still kinda new to filemaker.

So you have a table named, lets say, "Customers" and "ClientInfo," "BillingHistory," and "Products" right? Then you need the three other tables related to "Customers" correct?
