Autopopulating Weather Data from Web into field

I have an assignment where I am trying to autopopulate weather data from the web. When a new record is created, I want to have a field that is much like the auto-enter date where it can sit behind the scenes and be filled in. My initial thoughts is that XML data would be the easiest way to go, but unfortunately I don't know this language. NOAA has a website but when I try to import the XML data, nothing comes over. I was wondering if anyone has done something like this before. I am open to any plausible solutions so long as it can be explained clearly. Thanks a lot!

Hi, Bill. Can you post a sample of the XML you are trying to import? I am guessing you are going to have to write an XSLT, that is, a set of rules by which FileMaker will translate the NOAA XML into its own language.
