I am new to all this so please be patient.

I was under the impression when I purchased FM Server Advanced, that I could host a database over the intranet and the internet. I am trying to share a single database that can be accessed through the local network and also be accessed via Instant Web Publishing. IS this possible? I have configured advanced server 7 (so far) were it is an either/or situation. Any suggestions I am running SBS 2003

it IS possible. In fact it's what it does right out of the box after installing all the components.

Did you follow the installation guides that are available on the FMI web site? The manual itself can be confusing but the installation guide is better.

Does SBS 2003 contain IIS?

Hi there,

be sure to turn off remote admin of iis when publishing on the web.

also, set the rights of the standard internet user account to your needs.
