I tried to use the status(currentrecordnumber) as a calculated field and it doesn't seem to work the way I thought it's supposed to. I thought it gives the current record number in your found and sorted records so that whichever way you sort ti the first in the group is 1, the next 2, etc. It seems to only give the originally created order. Any help?

make certain that the calculation is unstored - caclulate when necessary and it will work as you want it to
