FileMaker CurrentUserName & Terminal Services

Featured Replies

We are running FM Client V6/Server V5.5, not sure of what our Terminal Server version is. Should be fairly up to date though.

We have about 50-60 Users on the Remote/Terminal system. We have a file that stamps each record with their name, using the FM Auto-Enter Creation Date. Always works, so I know FM on the Terminal Server has their name.

Later, during an Approval process, I use a Set Field script step with the Status(CurrentUserName) option to put their name in an approval field.

PROBLEM: Most of the time (but not all), from the Terminal Server, the Status(CurrentUserName) does not show up in our text field, when we run the script.

Very perplexing. I haven't seen or heard anything like this before. Anybody run into this problem?
