Hello, apologies if this has already been answered but I have searched and not found the answer.

I know that there is a problem with the Pop-up lists being slow in version 7 - they were much quicker in my older version - in my older version if you typed in the first letter of the search it moved straight away to the names beginning with that letter but in this version I have to wait until the list comes up then type and wait.

Is there a workaround or way of improving this?

How many records you have? I ask you because i want to now find works quickly or not. If it works quickly you can constructe your own list by using find.

Works quickly i thing. Here is my example in attachment.

In your example there are only 100 values in the value list coming up in the pop-up list.

In your example it is slow to bring up the pop up list, but it does seem to jump to the right place in the list straight away when you type a number in but that might be because it is numbers and only a small list. On mine they are names, and when I type the first letter it takes ages to jump to the right place in the list.

I have the same problem, the Pop-up lists are too slow.

The issue of the first letter was resolved with the 7.03 upgrade, but not the display speed.

What can be done to speed up the Pop-up lists?
