Newbies tcojanis Posted June 23, 2005 Newbies Posted June 23, 2005 Hello all...this is my first post, and actually my first time checking out this forum as I just stumbled accross it today! I love it! This may sound like a ridiculous question but I feel someone here could have an answer for it: LOST PASSWORD Long story short: DB created, running shared on FM Server version 6. Admin responsiblities shifted to someone else Person leaves the company, DB not used for a period of time (likely forgotten) Now they want to get in it, and the previous admin user changed the admin password from what I had (of course). They are now asking me to get in it because they can't get a hold of the old admin person. (I know, I know...I should have kept admin access and just given them full use password...I was trying to wash my hands and not be stuck with this DB.) How do I crack open a DB that I do not even have a user password for? Is it hopeless? Thanks in advance for any advice you can give! T
