In Preview Mode first does not show why?

Hi

I have a relation which is a one to many. I have Projects and Tasks

I have created a report which shows the Project in the header and all the tasks on the second page.

i scripted a find Tasks , which searches on the ID in the Tasks table. Worked good in Browse mode, but in Preview mode the first Task disappears. so if i have 4 Tasks in Preview, say Task 1, Task 2, Task 3, Task 4 ; when I look at it in Preview mode, I see only Task 2, Task 3, Task 4 - Task 1 is nowhere to be seen.

I don't think i'm doing anything tricky here.

Anyone ever see this happen? ... if so, what do I need to do to get Task 1 to appear?

thanks for your help in advance - a definate "head scratcher"

Sincerely,

J__

How you constructed your prin layout can you tell?

  • Author

the odd thing is it prints out just fine.

what do you mean by "how you constructed..." ?? Please explain.

I kind of got it working, but I'm not sure what the 'magic' was... hmm too late .. maybe in daylight it might make more sense.

thanks,

J__
