I am really new to filemaker pro, and i have one question.

What must I do to convert data (english) to data in another language (french)?

For example: If i am inputing data in english, is there an option to convert the english data to french?

Sorry if i'm not too clear.

Hi azeezo, and welcome to the Forum.

I remember that this topic has come up in the past, so I did a search using +French +English as my Keywords, and got something like 80 hits. Unfortunately, I couldn't find where this had been resolved. You might want to try your own search, and see if you can find something. IIRC correctly, the answer has been to have duplicate layouts, and double fields. One for English and one for French.

To perform a search of the Forums, hit the [color:"blue"] Search button at top of the Screen, and then, select the "All Forum" options on the left side and type in the Keywords [color:"blue"] +French +English (Enter the keywords with the Plus too) (Enter the keywords with the Plus too), and be sure to Remove the [color:"blue"] 1 in Weeks.
