Single field, several pages: Split + cropped lines

I've been with FileMaker for quite a while (it wasn't even "Pro" back then) and so has the split line problem...

Up until FMP 6, the problem was that a line (sometimes several) would not print at the bottom or top of a page when printing a record with a single field spread over several pages. It was possible to solve the problem by seriously tweaking the layout (there is posts on that elsewhere on this Board).

FMP 7 seems to have introduced a whole range of new problems, presumably because there is still some bugs with the formatted text capabilities.

Every now and then, when printing a record with a signle field that spreads over several pages, I get a printout where some paragraphs are not justified. Sometimes, the lines even run over the edge of the field and are clipped off.

It happens in print and in preview.

And: There is usually no way to fix it once it has happened. If I try to move or reformat the text, the problem occurs again... at a different spot in the text.

It is maddening.

This is a file created in FMP7 Dev

The field is defined in justified Arial 10 (which I reinstalled, thinking I might be currupted).

When creating the record, I run a script runs to put some standard text (Sir, Madam, etc...) in the field and formats it to whatever the user has chosen (a Frutiger 12p in my case, also freshly installed).

Any suggestion... other than to move to an "export to Word" or "XML" scenario?

I'm updating my own post because I've been playing around a bit and doing that I have found out that the problem seems to occur as soon as I add formatting (i.e. bold or italic) to the text, no matter what font I use
