Is it possible to slide a portal row?

I have a field in a portal in which the length of text can vary considerably. Is it possible to extend the portal/field size and have them slide up if the text is short?

In browse mode: no, never. Sliding/Printing only works in Preview mode and when printing.

In preview mode and when printing: don't print portals. Go to the related records and print using a list view layout instead. Then you canuse Sliding/Printing as much as you like.
