I have a database of staff, students, external people, grants projects etc. I have a table called enrolled which lists the degrees a student is enrolled in, I then have this linked to supervises, which lets you choose the supervisors for that particalur student and degree. In my layout I can look up all the information regarding a staff meber,eg their grants, projects etc but amd having great touble getting the students they supervise.

I have attached the scheme. I created people2 which will allow you to see the students for t a given staff memeber but in the layouts how do I link to this seamelessly? Is htis a scripting problem or have I got the scheme wrong?

only gave this a quick glance but you should link to people, not people2 if you want to see the info from a layout based on the people TO

That's my problem when you link to people it tells you, you have to have it as a second existance.
