how do i set up a field so that whatever a user puts into it, typing or pasting from the web, that it ALWAYS stays the same font?

Add this auto-entered calc to the field definition:

Evaluate ( Quote ( Field ) )

Pasting while holding down the Option key also works, but users may not remember it.
