OK, so here's the problem...

I'm building a simple database for local primary schools using local census data from 1900. I want to find things like all the male, married, knitwear workers or all the female, widowed teachers or whatever. Simple multiple searches done by justing putting FMPro into find mode and then getting it to search after kids have ticked off all the criteria they want.

But, I would like to keep a record of the search criteria so that I can display this on the 'results' screen. I've set up global fields that grab the search criteria before the search is actualy done and these display beautifully in the header at the top of the results page. However, they always seem to be a search 'behind' the relevant criteria. So I get 'search 1's criteria while the actual search is done using 'search 2'.

Any iodeas of how i can force the globals to reset themselves or something? I've tried all the obvious (well, obvious to me!) and it doesn't seem to work.

TIA

gareth
