Email from FIlemaker Directly

I was just wondering if there is a way to email a straight text email (optional attachments) straight from filemaker to your ISP's SMTP relay instead of having filemaker open up your default email program. I need to implement automatic email notifications from certain events in the database.

There area few plugins that waill allow you to do this. Try SMTPiT.
