how do I export filemaker 5.5 into excel

Open the Online Help (when FM is open), and type in

[color:blue]About file formats this will explain the different format FileMaker can import and export; In excel's case, it would depend on whether or not you want the field names. It is best to test a few format, Tab, Comma, Merge might be what you are looking for.
