database sessions expire issues

Featured Replies

Hi,

I am using database sessions. I have had luck using the -edit command to edit a global field by -recid. Then I can retrieve the value with a query. It works fine for 15 minutes or so, but then I guess it expires and I can't restart a new session by setting a new value with -edit. It makes sense that I can't retrieve the value after 15 minutes because the session expires, but what do I need to do so I can begin a new session?

So far the only thing that works is to edit the record with the files that the site assistant makes. So the site assistant works after the session expires, but my own files don't and I can't figure out why.

Can anyone please help? Please???

Thanks,

Moe
