Excuse me if this has been gone over already. I am trying to figure out how to change the format of part of a string calculation. Basically I want to write a script that will change the text color of the part of text that has changed

set(x, x & w & Y & z)

so that if y has changed since the last time the set function is called the y part of the calculation will be bold and red while the rest of the string remains normal text.

I know how to make the comparison I just need to know what the formatting command should be.

TIA

Sorry, there's no such feature in FileMaker. The workaround since the beginning of time is to use multiple fields of different text color, and line them up on top of each other.
