need to figure out why the field is entering extra space

I was wondering if someone can help me out with this.

i have this fields

Log = lookup (it is date field, it doe the look of log_calc)

Log_calc = Current_Modification & "¶" & Log

Current_modification = DateToText( Status( CurrentDate) )

it work fine but it also inserting extra space after the year.8/17/2005.i am trying to figure out why.

A date field can only hold one date and definitely cannot contain a carriage return. Change Log to be a text field and see how that works.

Is there any reason you have DateToText(Status(CurrentDate)) separate from the Log_calc?
