Hello filemaker veterans,

Filemaker cant display the mother data for subsequent rows of portal data when ported to excel, but only the first one (portal row data). I am sure this is a bug.

Try it export any portal data with multiple rows to excel and some data from the mother file - and look what happens!!!!

first row

id 1 - mother data.....portal data - sweet!

the rest of the rows

id 1 - mother data blank - portal data visible - bad! where is my mother data?

this guys is having the same problem too

Can you attach here the part of your file?

This must sound useless, but I cannot - it is too big B)

I think that if you want to export the contents of all the portal rows that you have to perform the export from the related table which contains the records which are showing in the portal.

hi slim thx for your interest, but no I have exported from the relevant table!

I exported the table which has the data that the portal data is originally from. In this case a table linked to the mother table.

I have had a go at repeating this and the only time I get blank fields is when I choose to group data and the field data is repeated, only the first repeat is entered. On the basis of the exports I have done your file looks like grouped by mother data with the same mother data for each row. If you uncheck the "group by" then I think all the data should appear. Of course I could easily be wrong.
