Hi everybody. I'm a long-time FM user, but haven't upgraded in a while. Been using FM Pro 5.5, and FM Mobile 2.0 on a Mac c OS 10.3.9 for some time, with great success. Upgraded to Mac 10.4 in May and have had nothing but nightmares! Can't sync, can't install FM Mobile conduit on my Treo 650 phone.Palm's latest desktop for Mac 4.2.1 has been recalled and is unavailable for download. Can't install the FM conduit even using the Missing Sync.

HELLLLLLLLLLLP! I am a physician and had been using this system for keeping patient data with me; I feel lost without it. I'd be very grateful for anybody's assistance. Thx. PRB1 :

I can't install Palm Desktop for Mac 4.2.1 - recalled by Palm. So I'm using Missing Sync. When I try to drag the Filemaker Mobile Conduit in the Install Window, it won't allow me to place it there (ie., it just doesn't show up.). Tried copying the file and adding a .prc to the end (as with many Palm conduits), and then it showed up in the Install Window.....however, it would not Sync.

Thanks for any input you might have.

Thanks for your response. Sorry I was offline last evening.

I purchased MissingSync for Mac/Palm. Had been working fine until I was out of the country for 3 weeks and my SmartPhone went dead. When I reinstalled everything is when I started having problems.

hi,

i'd like to give you some good news... but mobile has always been really picky about the system requirements...

it may work if you upgrade to pro 6 and mobile 2.1, but rather than waste your money on upgrading to then find it doesn't work... try calling tech support and getting a free upgrade to mobile 2.1 (this was provided for pocket pc 2003 users - hint). and i'm sure you can find a pro 6 trial somewhere.

hth,

jd.
