Rapid Duplication of Fields

When I am in the Define Database window I can see how to setup a field and then duplicate it within a table and then change its name. There can be quite a few settings for some fields and this saves a lot of time.

What I cannot see is how I can duplicate a field to another table?

Also, my FileMaker 7 book seems to allude to the ability that you can duplicate tables but I cannot see how this done either.

I wish this application's interface was more intutive it would save a lot of wasted time.

The ability to copy tables is in FMP 8 Advanced.
