I don't mind the added feature, although you do have to have a border on the right side of the field for the icon to show up in browse mode - without clicking on it

It would be nice to see the icon without the need for the border - you can have a hairline around the field, but the calander then gets a thick border . . .

I'd rather have the option to not have the border around the calendar icon.
