Server side processing ?

Hi,

I Think that Filemaker server 7 can process some calculations or script steps on the server machine to have faster, less networking bound, performance.

Am-I correct, or it just limited to plug-ins ?

Is there a list of the script steps and the calculation that can be processed on the server machine rather on the client ?

Such a list would be a boon to optimize development.

Is there a particular setting to enable this server side processing ?

Since I don't use third-party plug-ins, is there a regular one (one shiping with fmp), that we should put on the server ?

I'm thinking about the web companion (taht existed in 6), I use one of its string manipulation function. can I put it on the server.
