Can't get field to accept multiple lines...

Featured Replies

I have a normal text field or at least it seems that way, it is supposed to be a not field for the client but I cannot get it to accept more than one line of text. Does anyone no what I have set incorrectly? How I can get it to be a mulitple line field?

Thanks.

Could it be that in Field Behaviour, you have included the Enter or Return Key to "Go to next field" ?

Regards,

Peter

Peter, thanks for your reply. I checked what you you suggested and that is not the problem, it was set to Tab, I even turned it off but it still is only one line. If you hold the key dow and let it run it will only make one long line.

I made a test field and it works correctly so I then bound it to the same internal field but the moment I used the the Format Painter the new test field had the same problem, use undo and the problem gos away. So now I know that it has something to do withe formatting, but I am still stumped what setting that would be to cause this problem.

I figured it out!

I somehow set the line spacing to zero within the paragraph window. All of the text was being placed on the same line.

Thanks again.
