Zero Tolerence Posted September 16, 2005 Posted September 16, 2005 In your tables tab, you can create a tab called "-" and move it between some of your tables. It functions just like the layout "-" or the script "-", it works as a separator. I'm currently working on a file with close to 20 tables, and this makes it so much easier when i'm in the Define Fields tab. Anyhow, knew you could do this with scripts and with layouts, but just found this one out. Might be helpful if your working with numerous tables.
CyborgSam Posted September 16, 2005 Posted September 16, 2005 Unfortunately, only one table named "-" can be created, so only one separator can be made... And the "-" table is a real, but empty table.
Michael Myett Posted October 3, 2005 Posted October 3, 2005 You can however make as many layouts named "-" as you like, based on any table occurance.
mr_vodka Posted October 4, 2005 Posted October 4, 2005 Yeah I agree with you Sam. If only they allowed you to create more than one and also not have it as a 'real' table. What a tease! ;)
titanium76 Posted October 5, 2005 Posted October 5, 2005 This trick is potential suicide for any real database design.
