Can someone please help me out??

I have fairly small networked multiple file FileMaker 6 solution. All the files originally had the same password, and when I opened my menu file, all the other files opened without a problem. I've since converted the system to FileMaker Pro 7, and now when I open my menu file, some files open automatically and other files bring up the login dialog. When I type in the password, it doesn't work. Do you know why this is happening?
