does anyone know why my date formatted field sorts as text not as date. It does this when I use the FileMaker Site Assistant to generate my pages? Is there away to correct this.

i'm not sure what you mean by it sorts as text...but could you give me a link to that site assistant?

To Hal: Are the dates sorted by a query (e.g. &-sortfield.1=somedatefield&-sortorder.1=ascend) or by a xsl:sort in the stylesheet? xsl:sort can only texts and numbers.

To VICH: Look on your FMS7A CD, you will find it there. And look up the FMS7A Custom Web Publishing Guide.

The dates are sorted by the query.. I deleted the field from the layout and re-added, now it is ok! Strange...
