Newbies da_ting Posted October 2, 2005 Newbies Posted October 2, 2005 Hi, I have a huge (2000) international and asian film database in english. My information comes several sources in different languages set. It gives me most of the data I need. Example TITLE, DIRECTOR, RUNTIME, ecc. ecc. I created another database for the various talents involved in the production. (Creative, Actors, Crew). This second database has the following fields: International Names (without the variants for vowels and or consonants) Original Name (as it is spelled in the Language of the artists) Korean translation Japanese translation Traditional Chinese translation Simplified Chinese translation This becauase people's name are often repeated in different films, therefore in different records. I'd like to automatically update the translated names with a relatrhionship betweens the two files, as the data in the field I call "int_name" should trigger the relathionship. So in the relathionship fields I set several relathionship each with his own link as follows: Director, Writer, ACTOR 1, PRODUCER, = INT NAME I should see in a layout I created the people name with the several translations I have in the other file. HGowever this does not happen. In this layout there are no MISSING or UNREFERENCED tables, but the transalated names do nhot appear at all, What to do? Regards

Not sure what you want to achieve with this. Can you post a screenshot of your Relationship Graph?
