[OFF] Lost Menu Selection for Creating Text Document

This is not related to FileMaker whatsoever but some FM & Windows guru might know the answer.

Somehow I lost the menu selection (Windows XP) for creating a new Text Document. If you right click in an open space on the desktop and choose NEW, you are given a variety of types of new documents to create; Word doc, Excel doc, Powerpoint Presentation, etc. and a Text Document. Somehow I lost the choice for creating a text document (.txt using notepad).

Does anybody know how I might get this back?
