:bang: why in the efing world would a script step as basic as sort by date in descending order mess up

at the end of my script i have a sort by a date feild in descending order....and it doesn't

why not

The name of the field sounds like a place you put a person's name, not a date.

It sounds like the sort is reverting to a previous sort, if this is true, you need to replace the field in your sort to the date.

Is the field a Date field? If it's not, it will sort in what will seem an idiotic way - it's really sorting alpha-numerically. Check that it is really a Date field. I get caught out on design slip-ups like that more frequently than I would wish.

that was it...i never actually set it a date field....just another example of why no one should rush a project
