I'm developing this training class for in house, course db, classes db, attendees db, line item db. So far everything is running smoothly but now the boss has introduced two courses that will not have "classes" but will be web based. So there's no new class with a time and place associated with it, attendees will just enter the dates they reviewed it. Any ideas on how to track this?

many thanks,

Same way you do now! Do not look at this as if there are NO classes, there are actually MANY classes, each "student" is basically a class of one, with the date and time that they completed it as the class date and time.
