Visual Basic and FileMaker Pro 7

I have a FileMaker Pro 7 database done. Can I use Visual Basic 6.0 as the front end and my FileMaker Pro 7 database as the backend. I know you can with Access and several others. It would be great if it can be done with FileMaker Pro.

Sure.

Two ways to get the data out of FM:

- through XML

- through ODBC

For best results you'd need FileMaker Server Advanced so you can hit the server directly instead of having to hit a client FMP machine who then queries FMS.
