Ok, another one for today:

Is there a trick to using global fields across shared databases?

I've never been able to create a global field that stores data across the network for multiple users. I've dealt with this by creating a small database of "globals" that are actually just text fields that I can reference from the other files.

I feel like I must be missing something.

Hi Mehronex,

I would suggest checking out This Thread for more information on globals. Also read the whitepaper by David Kachel it is full of information.
