Steven H. Blackwell Posted November 14, 2005 Posted November 14, 2005 It sounds as if you're experiencing an End of File error possibly () caused by copying an open file. Do you have a backup you can use instead, or is the backup also corrupted? I do not know whether the file is recoverable or not. Steven
hasru Posted November 17, 2005 Author Posted November 17, 2005 i have a backup but not fully backup. hopefully there is another way to recover that files
Steven H. Blackwell Posted November 17, 2005 Posted November 17, 2005 Doesn't sound to me as if this file can be recovered. Sometimes failed recovers on one platform will work on the other platform, so you might try that. If you can get the file recovered, then you'll need to get the data out of it. Do not use the recovered file. Steven
Steven H. Blackwell Posted November 17, 2005 Posted November 17, 2005 One additional point since you're using FMP 8. Its recover function is more robust, but if you're getting an error, then that's not a good sign. Steven
