I use windows and FM8Adv.

I am trying to create multiple areas that slide on a single form. I basically have columns with 2 feilds side by side. If field 1 is empty, I need it to slide to the left. Sounds fine right. Well, since I have multiple columns, everything slides all the way to the left, shredding my columns.

How can I use the sliding feature and control it so the items in each column slide, but the columns don't slide?

Have you tried using only the slide up option? If that doesn't work, experiment with putting an invisible line in between your columns.
