icefield Posted August 9, 2001 Share Posted August 9, 2001 hi folks. i am building a relational master database that will pull data across tcp/ip. the problem is that when the db's are being shared at the host location, no editing (defining fields, etc.) can take place. does fm pro server fix this? i am currently using fm pro 5. thanks, ez Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

With the file hosted by server and other guests present, you can create and modify layouts, if they aren't being modified by another guest. You can also create and change scripts (same restriction). With the file hosted by server and no other guests, you can define fields and modify relationships.
