Botton: open the file that is included as reference in a container

Featured Replies

Hi,

I have a container field where I store references to pictures. I would like to include a bottom that opens the file that I previously used as reference for the container. That is, after including a reference to a Photoshop file in a container, I would like to click in a bottom that opens Photoshop, and that particular file, in order to modifie the picture if I need to. Is it possible to make this script? I appreciate any help. Thanks in advance.

Use the Open URL script step to perform what you want.

Make a field with the reference from the file into Photoshop and concatenate this to have the reference where to point to in the script.

The script-step will look something like (if you're on WIN, don't know for Mac - think it will be kinda same)

C:Program FilesMicrosoft OfficeOfficePhotosthe name of the file you want.

Hope this helps.

John
