I have a company table and an employee table. In Filemaker 6 when they were separate files, I exported the data for the first company, then exported the related employes for that company, etc. and all worked well. (well enough).

Now, with them combined into one file and two tables, I can't figure out how to do it. What am I missing.

You can do the same by using the Go to Related Records step in your script then export the related employees. Make sure you have the option of showing only the related records.

Thanks. I need to change my ability level to somewhat intermediate. What I was doing wrong was checking the group by in the export dialogue. When I unchecked it, the employees were exported under their company.
