Experienced enough to handle xmChart

Hi: I have been using filemaker for a long time now, but I have only used it as a flat file data manager and have not really designed relationships and used the scripting functions.

Do you think a novice like me would be able to handle the xmChart plugin given I cannot script very well? Thoughts are appreciated.
