kuma_24
I am trying to include the username and password into a link so that the dialog box does not come up to enter them manually. I have seen some syntax on this topic but could not get it to work. http://username:password@hostname:port. Does anyone know how to get this to work? Thanks, Nick
Martin Brändle
This does not work under Windows, which blocks such requests because the credentials would be transmitted in clear text. However, Oliver Reid, Beverly Voth and I have submitted a paper to FMI. It shows how one can use authenthication server-side. I hope it will be published in their XSLT Library.
